Do you know someone who makes a pot of tea & then slowly lingers over it as they work or read a good book? Do you want to make your afternoon tea parties special? I made this quilted tea cozy by piecing & sewing more than thirty thin strips of cotton fabric going through the cotton batting onto the back. Then I added a loop for hanging the tea cozy & removing it from the pot & hand finished the binding. Of course it is signed. The back of the cozy is black. At about 9 by 12 inches, this cozy should work for most medium size tea pots. Just measure to be sure. Having the cozy larger than the tea pot is not a problem. I did all the work myself in my studio in Shelburne Falls, MA. This listing is for one tea cozy in grey. The others are sold separately.
